SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: To carry out cashiering duties. To control meals served in bars and restaurants and to prepare bills for food and drinks served, using the Micros software. Assists bars operation when necessary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Before taking up position in Restaurant / Bar, prepares a room occupancy chart from the cashier’s accommodation lists to identify the guests on B/B, H/B, F/B.
Ensures the all Food and Beverage items on the captain order are charged correctly.
Prepares bills for extra food served, collects cash or passes to guests’ accounts.
Prepare creditsales and control sheets.
Hands over cash received after each meal to the Front Office.
Is responsible for all money entrusted to him/her.
