And the Grand Parade is the loud, spectacular finale of it all. Then morning comes, and with it comes reality: dozens of tons of waste left behind on the streets. Can we change that? And why does it matter to clean up properly, not just quickly?
When a Celebration Turns Into a Dump
Carnival is pure joy, but its downside is almost always the same: huge piles of trash left exactly where people were dancing just hours earlier.
