The “Zero Waste HoReCa – Seed Funding Competition Awards 2025” ceremony took place today, 20 November 2025, at the Strovolos Cultural Centre in Nicosia, for the third consecutive year, under the auspices of the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mr. Kostas Koumis. The €10,000 prize was shared among 16 small tourism enterprises, businesses from the tourism supply chain, and the Sustainable Tourism Community of Amargeti, which were awarded for their proposals on introducing best practices or infrastructure improvements in their operations. The competition is organized within the framework of the “Zero Waste HoReCa” program, implemented by the AKTI Project and Research Centre, with the support of The Coca-Cola Foundation.
