The installation of smart water meters in Limassol, under a pilot programme, is entering its final phase, with 78,800 of the total 80,000 meters planned under the “Limassol Smart Water Network – Living Lab” project already installed. The works are expected to be completed by the end of June 2026.
According to the Limassol District Local Government Organisation, efforts are now focused on individual cases and areas where meter replacement could not be carried out during the mass installation phase due to technical difficulties, restricted access, or closed premises. The Organisation is calling on consumers experiencing access issues to contact its services so that installation appointments can be arranged.
