The international conference “Climate Neutral Blue Cities by 2030: Accelerating Local Change under the EU Cities and Ocean Missions” was successfully held on 19-20 March 2026 at The Warehouse by IT Quarter in Limassol, reaffirming the city’s role as a dynamic hub in Europe’s green and blue transition.
Organised by the Limassol Municipality, the conference brought together more than 300 high-level participants from Cyprus and abroad, including European officials, government representatives, researchers, businesses, organisations, and local authorities. The event created a meaningful platform for the exchange of knowledge and expertise on the future of coastal cities.
