On 15–16 November 2025, Cyprus will witness an extraordinary and unique act of endurance, purpose, and compassion. Barasa Daniel (Ντάνιελ Μπαράσα), founder and leader of the Running-Fluent Initiative, EU Climate Pact Ambassador, and alumnus of both Cyprus University of Technology and the University of Limassol, will embark on the RUN180 challenge, a 15-hour, 180-kilometer solo run from Limassol to Nicosia and finishing in Larnaca at Finikoudes during the Radisson Blu International Marathon.
This monumental challenge is beyond a run. It is a movement for visibility, inclusion, and solidarity with the 60,000 individuals in Cyprus living with rare health conditions.
