The US military completed its latest round of strikes against Iran on Wednesday, according to US Central Command.
The strikes targeted Iran’s surveillance capabilities, communication systems and air defense sites as explosions were heard across the country.
On Thursday, Trump claimed the US has “ended the war with Iran” after earlier announcing a “great settlement” that he said would resolve the conflict and reopen the Strait of Hormuz. However, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson said the country had not reached a final decision on any agreement, according to state media.
