As of 11:30 Thursday morning, LSU technically had two basketball coaches – the one administrators hadn’t gotten around to technically firing and the one they fired four years ago after he refused to cooperate during an NCAA investigation. But the school wanted to rehire the former coach so badly that they couldn’t even fire the first guy before making him an offer.
Got that? Right. It’s a hot mess.
