At least 15 people have been killed and seven others wounded after a Russian drone struck a bus in Ukraine’s southeastern Dnipropetrovsk region on Sunday, authorities said.
Ukraine’s largest private energy company, DTEK, said Moscow had launched a “large-scale attack” on DTEK mines in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In one of the strikes, a bus transporting miners after their shift was targeted.
“At the moment, 15 miners are known to have been killed. According to preliminary information, 7 miners were also wounded,” DTEK said.
Regional governor Oleksandr Ganzha confirmed the deadly attack in Pavlohrad district, Dnipropetrovsk region.
