Key Responsibilities
Communicate with the chef regarding the daily menu and any menu changes
Know the restaurant menu thoroughly, as well as the spirits list
Organize your station and coordinate with other waiters on supervising the workplace
Coordinate with the waiter’s assistant on how to organize and share tasks
Welcome customers in a friendly manner
Present and explain the menu, suggesting options and dish and drink combinations in a friendly and discreet way, without imposing opinions
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure orders are delivered promptly to the kitchen and preparation starts immediately
