Role overview
As a Crewing Assistant, you will support the day-to-day crewing administration by helping ensure seafarers meet certification requirements, keeping accurate records, and coordinating training and travel documentation in line with company procedures and client instructions.
Key responsibilities
Crew certification: Ensure seafarers comply with STCW and flag state requirements for the vessel they are joining, in accordance with the Company’s procedures. Handle necessary applications and formalities with flag and national authorities.
Training coordination: Arrange training for crew as per client’s instructions, in liaison with the Risk and Safety Manager and Technical Manager of the clients.
