This is the 14th participation of the Cyprus Police in joint FRONTEX operations this year
Cyprus Police arrested and repatriated, last week, people illegally residing on the island, in the framework of their efforts to combat illegal stay on the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.
A police announcement says that 80 people were arrested in the last week, during coordinated operations of the Aliens and Immigration Service, which were carried out in all districts, in cooperation with other Police Departments.
