
Six days have passed since the outbreak of the fires in the Limassol and Paphos Districts, where human and animal lives were lost, people and animals were injured, property was burnt to ashes, resulting, along with the consequences of the above, in a huge ecological disaster.

“The humanitarian aid collection points had to pause their operations due to communication struggles between the volunteers, the government and the victims. Unfortunately, the first ones to help and react were the volunteers and not the government”, WeStandTogether volunteer team says.
Right now different coordination centres have joined their forces to continue helping the villages in a more united and organised way. Meanwhile, smaller coordination centres are being set up by the volunteers…
