Hermes Airports continues its commitment to sustainable development by advancing two major initiatives that strengthen its sustainability strategy. Through innovative technologies and international partnerships, the company aims to further reduce the environmental footprint of Larnaka and Pafos airports by adopting green practices.
On Thursday afternoon, Hermes Airports received approval from the European Union to participate in the plan for the installation of Electric Ground Power Units (EGPUs) at both international airports of Cyprus. This initiative is part of the European funding program for alternative fuel infrastructure, with Cyprus being one of the 39 approved projects.
