The total of 13 persons who were arrested for their participation in the immigration march that took place in Limassol on September 1st and which developed into a racist pogrom, during which foreigners were savagely beaten and their shops and other property were destroyed, were presented before the Criminal Court.
The defendants, who range in age from 16 to 50, face offenses including conspiracy to commit a felony and a misdemeanor, disorderly conduct, racism and xenophobia, and malicious damage.
