Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute organized a public launch event on the occasion of the launch of the EU-funded project LORELEI-X. The event was opened by Commander (Navy) Andreas Charalambides of the Joint Rescue and Coordination Centre (JRCC) who highlighted the role of innovative technologies, such as marine robotics, to enhance SAR operations.
The launch event featured a presentation of the project as well as a ‘tech talk’ (panel discussion) on the latest technological developments that can enhance European maritime safety.
