New building of Faculty of Engineering & Technology & ‘ERATOSTHENES’ Centre of Excellence in Vereggaria

Another decisive step in strengthening the academic and research excellence of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) is the signing ceremony of the Contract for the award of the tender for the construction of the new building of the School of Engineering and Technology, as well as the University’s “ERATOSTENIS” Center of Excellence, in the Berengaria area, in Kato Polemidia.

This is the University’s second major development project in the area, after the construction of the student residences, which is already underway. The project, with an implementation period of 18 months, has a budget exceeding 12 million euros, an amount secured through a loan agreement with the European Investment Bank.
