The 2025 Lemesos International Documentary Festival will host the World Premiere of ‘Waves Won’t Stop’, an evocative experimental documentary and debut film by two acclaimed Cypriots living in New York—director Ioannis Papaloizou and producer Harry Mavromichalis. Through vivid recollections and archival imagery, ‘Waves Won’t Stop’ tells the story of a friendship formed between two young boys in Cyprus—one that survived distance, separation, and personal transformation.
