The application period for the 5th European Parliament Journalism Prize, established in honour of Maltese investigative journalist and blogger Daphne Caruana Galizia, has already begun. She was renowned for her fight against corruption and was assassinated in 2017.
The annual prize aims to recognise outstanding journalism that promotes or defends the fundamental principles and values of the EU, such as human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, and human rights.
Applications can be submitted until 31 July 2025 via https://daphnejournalismprize.eu/.
