Opening the door and welcoming me, I immediately felt the warmth that exists inside the restaurant, both literally and figuratively. Literally because of the fire burning in the open kitchen at the back of the shop, and figuratively, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere of the space. The dim lighting and the wine cellar inside were the elements that first caught my attention. Cor gastronomy, which opened its doors about a year ago, was awarded the “One to Watch” award by the “Athinorama Golden Hats of Cyprus 2024” culinary awards (“Crysi Skoufi).
Chef and co-owner of Cor gastronomy, Christodoulos Theofanous, speaks to LT about the new restaurant in Limassol, which is stealing the show in the city’s dining scene.
