Works begin on Monday in the buffer zone in Pyla area, as a result of an understanding reached with the United Nations.
Referring to the start of works in the area, President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, said on Sunday that the understanding was reached after discussions with Turkey itself.
Workers are in the region as of Monday morning and have begun to mark the routes where roads will be paved and divide land into plots.
