UK Defence Secretary will be visiting Cyprus, the Occupied Palestinian Territories and Israel to discuss the current conflict and the humanitarian aid access to the Gaza Strip.

Grant Shapps will arrive in Cyprus today, planning to hold meetings with Cypriot government officials and the UK military personnel in the RAF sovereign base in Akrotiri.

He will be accompanied by the Chief of the Defence Staff.
