Τhe number of registered unemployed for August 2024 reached 11,197 persons
Registered unemployed persons in end-August marked an annual reduction of 8.9% or 1,177 persons, amounting to 12,079 persons, data released by the Statistical Service of Cyprus (CyStat) show.
According to CyStat, the unemployed persons, registered at the District Labour Offices on the last day of August 2024, reached 12,079 persons.
Based on the seasonally adjusted data that show the trend of unemployment, the number of registered unemployed for August 2024 reached 11,197 persons remaining at the same level in compared with the previous month.
