A leading Consortium comprised of PwC Cyprus, Multimarine Services Ltd, SignalGeneriX Ltd, and Theophrastus Research Institute, has been awarded the Project Symbiosis to Harmonise Offshore Renewable Energy with Defence Operations by the European Defence Agency (EDA).
This ambitious initiative aims to foster the coexistence of offshore renewable energy installations and defence activities within European maritime space, addressing the unique challenges and identifying the opportunities of integrating sustainable energy solutions with strategic defence needs. Together, the consortium is uniquely positioned to deliver innovative solutions that support Europe’s goals for a decarbonized energy system while ensuring national security and operational effectiveness.
