This July was the warmest July in the climatological history of Cyprus, with the sole exception of the mountainous areas, the Department of Meteorology said in a press release on Wednesday, noting that the parameter that contributed to this record was that many warm nights were recorded during the month.
According to the data, July saw a record pf nights with daily minimum temperatures at levels above the yellow risk level for extreme minimum temperatures.
