The invisible line separating Gaza

Under Israeli military escort, CNN’s Jeremy Diamond visited an Israeli military position near the “yellow line” in Gaza City’s Al-Shujaiya neighborhood. The “yellow line” separates Israeli-occupied Gaza from the remainder of the strip that Israel has withdrawn from. But with very few markers on the ground, it is difficult to distinguish the contours of that line. Multiple Palestinian civilians have been killed while crossing over the invisible line, as have suspected Hamas militants. The Israeli government continues to bar foreign journalists from independently entering Gaza.
