
‘They fought for a country that didn’t fight for them’: The US honors the ‘Harlem Hellfighters’
Four years after President Joe Biden signed the Harlem Hellfighters Congressional Gold Medal Act into the law, a ceremony was held honoring the 369th Infantry Regiment, a group of primarily Black soldiers that fought bravely in World War I.
