
Carlo Acutis, a 15-year-old who died of leukemia in 2006, is to be declared a saint. His PlayStation, jeans, and digital savvy make him a relatable figure for young Catholics around the world. CNN’s Christopher Lamb spoke to Acutis’s mother ahead of his canonization, to find out more about the boy, who was dubbed “God’s influencer” by Pope Francis and visited Acutis’s tomb, where his body is on display after being exhumed and covered with a wax layer in 2019.
