Another potent storm is putting millions in the United States in harm’s way again, just days after a deadly, cross-country storm left a trail of destruction in its wake.
The next storm won’t be a carbon copy of the last one, but it will once again spawn severe thunderstorms and its powerful winds could trigger dust storms, fast-moving fires and a blizzard in the central US.
The storm will start to come together in the Rockies Tuesday afternoon, reach the Plains by night and strengthen considerably through Wednesday as it tracks into the Midwest.
