Prince Andrew will relinquish the use of his royal titles including Duke of York after discussing the matter with King Charles, the prince announced on Friday.
“In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” Prince Andrew said in a statement.
The prince repeated that he “vigorously” denies the accusations against him.
