Israeli police officers used trash bags to confiscate books from a renowned Palestinian bookstore in east Jerusalem. Two owners of the family-run bookstore, the Educational Bookshop, were arrested on suspicion of selling books inciting terrorism. Their arrests have sparked an outcry from the UN, foreign diplomats and protesters who gathered outside a Jerusalem courthouse on Monday to accuse Israeli authorities of censorship.
