The personal secretary and an adviser to the mayor of Mexico City were shot and killed in broad daylight on Tuesday while commuting to work. Mexico City Mayor Clara Brugada said the victims, Ximena Guzmán and José Muñoz, died as a result of a “direct attack” in Mexico City’s Moderna neighborhood.
