Tax Associate

Demetriou & Associates Business Advisers Ltd (dba) is looking for Tax Associate to join our team.

dba is a dynamic firm of professional accountants and business advisers located in a prime location in the center of Nicosia. We are members of an international association of accountancy firms and business advisers DFK International.

dba – Tax Associate – Nicosia

The successful candidate will be:

• Liaise with clients, overview and manage Cyprus Income Tax and VAT compliance issues
• Prepare Personal Income Tax Returns
• Calculate tax provisions in coordination with the Accounting Department and arrange for payments of taxes
• Review the tax computations of clients’ Financial Statements and liaise with the Audit Department
• Preparation of tax memos regarding the tax aspects of transactions
• Liaise with the Tax Department on clients’ tax matters
• Effectively collaborate with management for planning and meeting the tax deadlines
• Other ad­hoc tasks and reporting as required

Required qualifications:

• Relevant University degree or professional qualification
• 2-3 years experience in a similar position from an audit or tax advisory firm
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel,
